Step-by-step

How to Use Doctor My Number

Practical instructions for patients and clinics — based on exactly how the platform works today.

Patients

First-time user

  1. Open Doctor My Number — go to the patient portal in your browser.
  2. Create an account — or continue as a guest to browse where supported.
  3. Find your clinic — browse the list of participating clinics.
  4. Select your doctor — see the doctors available at that clinic.
  5. Check availability — an unavailable doctor won't accept new tokens.
  6. Book your token — confirm to receive your digital token number.
  7. Review your token — note your token number and clinic.
  8. Track the queue — refresh the queue view to watch your position.
  9. Reach the clinic — arrive when your turn approaches.
  10. Complete your consultation — your token is marked done when the doctor sees you.

Existing user

  1. Open Login in the portal.
  2. Sign in with your account.
  3. View available clinics and doctors.
  4. Book your token.
  5. Track the queue and arrive on time.

Before visiting the clinic

  • Check your token number in the portal.
  • Check your queue position — how many patients are ahead.
  • Keep the portal tracker open to see periodically refreshed queue status. Mobile notifications may be attempted for registered devices, but delivery is not guaranteed.
  • Follow the clinic's instructions on when to arrive — queue pace is an estimate.
  • Carry any required documents, prescriptions, or medical records your doctor may need.

If you miss your token

When the receptionist calls your token and you don't arrive, your token can be marked as a no-show. A no-show is treated as a used token — the convenience fee is not automatically refunded. If you believe a no-show was marked in error, contact the clinic or support.

Cancelling a booking

You can cancel a booked token before it's called — the convenience fee is refunded to your wallet in full. Once your token is called and completed, cancellation follows the dispute rules. See the Cancellation & Refund policy.

Clinics

For Clinics: How to Use It

  1. Clinic onboarding — your clinic is registered and verified on the platform by our team.
  2. Doctor setup — each doctor's account is created, assigned to the clinic, and verified.
  3. Doctor availability — doctors mark themselves available before taking tokens.
  4. Receptionist access — front-desk staff log in to the receptionist dashboard.
  5. Patient booking — tokens appear in the doctor's queue as patients book.
  6. Queue management — the dashboard shows today's queue per doctor.
  7. Call the next patient — one tap advances the queue and may trigger a notification attempt for a registered device.
  8. Completion — a seen patient is marked complete; the token closes.
  9. Cancellation & no-show — cancellations refund automatically; no-shows are recorded.
  10. Doctor absence — marking a doctor absent cancels the day's booked tokens and refunds patients automatically.
